Fever at Cawnpoke.— A correspondent from Gawnpore, -writing to the “Indian Railway Service Gazette,” says the number of deaths in that station from fever have been averaging 150 per day. If this Board holds monthly meetings, they must do a lot of cheeseparing to expend their twentyfour shillings and twopence per month: There can’t be any sinecures for Road Board officials in Mahurangi Bast.
