POST OFFICE NOTICES.

Mails close at : the Chief Post Office, Christchurch, for the following places (subject to necessary alterations) as under Thursday, March 11. For Otago, per Taiaroa. For Northern Ports of New Zealand and Australian Colonies (via Sydney), per Ringarooma, at 1.50 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdomvia Brindisi, will be closed at Christ, church on March 11th, and will be due in London on April 29th.
