Bush Firbs.— A New Plymouth telegram states that owing to bush fires in the neighborhood of Major Atkinson’s estate he has suffered considerable damage, over a mile of fencing having been burnt, besides hedges, Ac. It was feared at one tune that a large stack would have caught fire, but it was most fortunately saved. Mr. Adaon, of Egmont village, had the greater part of his grass burned off on Sunday by bush fires.
