A Gigantic Telescope, said to be the largest in the world, has just been constructed for Sir Henry Bessemer by Messrs Galloway, engineers and ironfounders, Knot Mill Ironworks, Manchester. The telescope, which is a marvel of ingenuity and workmanship, cost £40,000.
