THE TOAST, IVe traversed the ocean, brsv'd every clime, I've sought the perfection of beauty to see i The world only boast* of one woman Amoe, % And SirtiVtfae lady, the maidenfor me. The hills shall re»echo ber praises afar, Her name shall gire strength to tbe infidel host. The fair Queen of Beauty'* the Moslem's star, A Jewess shall be to the Christian a tout. For Sarab, for Sarah, nine cheers for the girl, The pride of al! countries, of monarch* the theme, No jewel can equal this beautiful pearl, Whose eye lights the beacon of each festive scene. Then fill up your glasses, aye fill to the brim, Let the goblet be drain'd, the revel shout rise. Her health must be drank in that rich purple strain Which poets baveoarrol'd and emperors prize. W.
