BIG NOTHING!
On Monday evening, at the Theatre, one of the members of the Legal profession exhibited himself in the Boxes as a great character. He appeared to have been practising extensively at the bar during the day, and seemed to attend at the Theatre, for the purpose of making a professional motion during the evening. But, as usual, the- case was brought on in a most irregular and disagreeable manner, and the motion being particularly disgusting, the Lawyer was bundled out without costs. It is to be regretted that any individual whose profession confers upon him the designation of a gentleman, should so far forget what is due to society, as to appear at(a place of public amusement in such a state of intoxication, and be guilty of such filthy conduct, as the party alluded to above ; and had the constables being on the spot, he would, very probably, have been placed in the lock up, aud the public then, would have had an opportunity of seeing the sort of persons to which they are, on some occasions, compelled to entrust their affairs.
