We beg to call the attention of our readers to an advertisement, which will be found m our columns of this day, stating that Mr. Clunie well sell by Auction, at Russell, on the 28th instant, some fine cattle ot various descriptions. As there are some gents in Auckland who we know are anxious to purchase cattle we think this will be an excellent opportunity for them to do so, as many of the cattle have been reared in this country. Intending purchasers need not go to the Bay to attend the sale as there are may most respectable men there who they may pend upon to pun hase for them. On Monday week a very neat and well built Schooner, (,he “ Lady of the Lake,”} about 25 tons, was launched at Waikatos a few days since she sailed round from where she was launched to Manukau in six hours. We believe this schooner was built for trading on the west coast and is well adapted for carrying a fe# passengers.
