The Auckland Chronicle. Thursday, February, 8, 1844.
I'ur the commencement of the ensuing qnatter we present our subscribers with a Double Paper, showing how anxious we are to give the latest news, such a present we trust, taken even as a compliment of the season, will not prove unacceptable to, our readers. Should we meet with a little more encouragement, it is our inteution to publish twice in each week, and increase the size of our paper. We have been requested by many of our subscribers to chunge our day of publication and of course always happy to meet their wishes we comply, the days in future for the publishing of the “ Auckland Chronicle” will be Thursdays. Any complaint relative to the nun delivery of the Auckland Chronicle, made to George Ducking ham, win he attended to without delay.
