Mr. S -<'s Letters have been received ; toe decline to publish the first, because the subject has nothing whatever to do with a Newspaper, it would look much better, if inserted in the preface to "The Whole Duty of Man," or, the " Universal Cloistian," I We likewise decline to publish the last ; the story of the pig's ut Kororatiha is not original, it is an piece of plagiarism, almost word for word, copied from Boz's " American Notes for General Circulation," Mr. S. by this piece of drolery, has not raised himself in our estimation. <3ames R.
