He said to me, 'Not yet', and I said to him, 'McLean said to me that Pereiha gave them to you.' He said to me that they had not yet been given to him, and that Paka [Parker?] would pay them. Hence I write to you, for you to ask Paka to give you the three pounds. When you get the three pounds and two shillings, there should be eleven shillings for Henare, Paka's son. If you see him, give him the 11 shillings. You should take two pounds eleven shillings. I have paid some, and should just take [?] two shillings. That is all of that, but the things Wiremu had, that was settled at one pound seven shillings, and was given to him. That is all of these things.
