But it is for you to decide on the right or wrong of our demand for payment for ships anchored in the river. Now, another matter for you. The Queen [a ship?] which was built at Turanga, we've called for payment for it, but the Pakeha said that was arrogant, and so we write to you for you to sort out what is right and what is wrong, the practice for the Pakeha and Maori of this settlement. Friend, be kind to the newcomers in this settlement of Turanga.
