now appears and I find on reference that it was ordered to be printed on the 18th inst. I was anxious to have an expression of opinion from yourself on the question of surveys before signing the Estimate. I mention this matter hoping (if my information be correct) that some explanation will be given in the house today as it is unfair that a statement implying neglect of duty on my part should remain unanswered.
