Wairoa 5 p.m. 20/12/65 My dear Sir, I have not seen Deighton as yet, but from all I can gather from Kopu who is on board, affairs are still as they were when you left. I purpose having a talk tomorrow as the natives wish one, when I will arrange with Kopu as to what we are to do. We have had a very fine passage, and are getting off our stores very well. I presume Deighton will write to you, and tell you about everything. I am, dear Sir, yrs. ever sincerely, James Fraser.
