Northern Club June 3rd 1876 My dear Lord I notice in this mornings paper your letter of the 29 ult. to Sir George Grey in which you agree to forward the correspondence with him to the Secretary of State, I trust your Excellency will delay forwarding the correspondence until Ministers have had an opportunity of seeing you and of being at least enabled simultaneously to transmit their views and vindication of their conduct against the charges made by Sir G.
