due and owing in respect of the aforesaid lands premises to distrain for the same and to bring commence and carry on and prosecute and at his discretion suspend and discontinue any action suit or other proceeding whatsoever for the recovery and compelling the payment thereof and also of any other money which may become due or payable to him, and also to take and use all such other lawful ways and means for the recovery receiving obtaining getting possession of and under any power of ventry or otherwise and for defending and protecting any of the aforesaid lands and premises as may be requisite and necessary and also in his name to do sign and execute all and every other matter and things deeds conveyances
