and in his place and stead put and depute Peter Wilson Esq., J.P, Colonial Surgeon, New Plymouth, to be his true and lawful Attorney for him and in his name to take a surrender of the lease presently held by the said Gudgeon to demise or to lease or to contract with with any person or persons for the demising and leasing the said lands and premises hereinbefore mentioned with their appurtenances in whole or in parts or parcels for any term not exceeding twenty one years and on such terms and conditions as he shall think: fit and also to sell and agree for the absolute sale of the freehold of and inheritance of and
