Warea Juli 20/47 My dear McLean One morning going out when I was in town last I left £1 10/- in charge of William because I found it very inconvenient to carry about and afterwards I forgot it when I left. At present I am nearly at ebb here (this of course I say in confidence to you) Would you do me the favour to ask W. for the money and to give to the bearer (Erueti) 5/- to purchase for himself a spade. Or if you do not like to ask W. about perhap you will lay the 5/- out until I myself come to town when I may make it straight as also the postage you have laid out. The bearer is porangi to get off and makes me almost raruraru by his impatience so I must conclude while I remain My dear McLean Yours affectionately J.F.Riemenschneider
