8-1-74 My dear Mr.McLean, There is but little going on here - My chief bother in making up my return is with the Deeds - there have to be gone into thoroughly in each case which was not done when last return of purchases was compiled - Mr. Vogels speech seems to have been a success; of course the Post has jumped at a conclusion as to his meaning and intentions - I trust you have as fine weather as we have and that things are going on smoothly.
