When at the Pawhakairo I found that it would be useless my trying to do anything with the case, and advised the Natives not to use force, but to apply again to you. It will be a difficult and disgusting case for you to handle but I hope the Govr. will to say the least show their decided disapprobation of Tareha's conduct.
