Tapuae 10th June 1870 My dear Fred, I rode to Town yesterday morning thinking I should see you before starting for Wellington, but the Steamer had just started as I got in, so missed you. I want you to see after that exchange I spoke to you about, viz, to get Scrip for the 100 acre order you enclosed and sent on to Wellington some time ago, if you can arrange it at once it would be a boon to me, as it is the only means I see at present to pay my interest and I don't want to be behindhand, as Old King is like Shylock, he will have his 12½% if not paid at the right time.
