Tahurukohea. 23rd. April 1860. This is an arrangement by the Runanga, about questions on the M.M,. which have reached Hoapata; which he left for the Runanga to do. Those M.M. were published on 15th. Jan 1860. The Runanga discussed two questions:- 1st. The murder by Taranaki and the Natiruanui. 2nd. Going under the shadow of the Queen. nthen asked their opinion, as to what they were to do. got up (and said) -- ''I have two things to say. Murder I do not approve of. Neither do I approve of war. Those murderers should be fetched under the law of the Queen. Because the Queen is for my body; and God is for my soul.'' (Said by ) ''I do not approve of war. The law shall fetch the murderers. Because the Queen is for my body, and God for my soul.'' (Said by ) ''I do not approve of war. The Queen for my body, and God for my soul.'' (By) - ''I do not approve of war, (save for) the Queen and God.'' (By) - ''My word is in Mat. C.5, v 5--6, -- ''My trust is in God and the Queen. ...''
