Doonside, March 4, 1863 To Donald McLean Esqre. Sir, On Novr. 3, 1862 I undertook with Honble. Mr. Tollemache to quit and deliver up possession on Feby. 1 last of the House I now occupy at Aorangi with the gardens, orchards etc. which you bought on Novr. 8 from him, I feel much obliged to you for allowing me to continue beyond that time. You having agreed to allow me to remain here till the 22nd of March next, I undertake to give you possession, on or before that day. I further undertake to pay Three Pounds (£3) per week as Rent to you for any time I or my Family may occupy the said Premises after the said 22nd day of March - I remain, Sir, Yours faithfully, Fredk.
