23 June 1863 Glenorchy My dear Donald I hear you are to be up soon and I am very glade for I am longing very much to see you. We can gave you plenty of good pork and first rate homemade ale. Do you know that every time I oppen a bottle of it I wish you had share of it. I tell Kate that she must send you some down when the butter goes and the weather is settled. I am thankful to say that my arm is fast improving. I can use the spade now. I am planting a good deal of shelter all round.
