The land at Awaroa is surveyed, and I have no reason to alter my opinion as to the extent. I have no means here for protecting the survey, but the plans will be forwarded to you with the least possible delay, so soon as I return to town. The road to Mokau occupies me with purpose, which I hope to commence on Monday morning next. Honi Punipi is in a great minority, but I think of surveying the coast boundary of his land notwithstanding the caution I received at the Committee.
