It would not be safe to leave them in the Blockhouse without a guard; and should it be removed to the Pa, the stores would be sure to suffer. Could the ammunition be given in charge to Paora Rerepu? Should you wish things to remain as they are. I can get a guard to do duty as formerly, but they are getting anxious for their pay. Capt.
