at the seaward side of the surveyed Land belonging to Mr. Thatcher. From thence it goes straight along the survey line through "Paipai" to the Waiwakaiho, and thence along that river upwards to "Te Papa" and thence Northward, till it falls into the survey line at Waeringapoka, and thence in a straight line, along the road by Watatiri, crossing the river to Tauringakuwau, when it turns off to the cliff "Te Puia", and from "Te Puia" it passes seaward by the side of Mr. Baines's house, to the Swamp, when it turns off to the "Waiwakaiho" and follows its course to the sea, and then along the sea coast to the "Waitapu". These are the boundaries which have been walked, and pointed out by us, in company with Mr. Forsaith, Mr. McLean, Mr. Whiteley - and Mr. Carrington? Appd. H. F. Nov. 22 /44. Alterations suggested (in red ink) but not indispensable.
