The natives of the Rimarapa offer to sell a Block of land there to the Government for £500, as they do not require it all for their own wants. Himona te Hori Tamati Takarangi. Rurangi. Te Puhi Te Arei. I do not know the extent of the land, but it may be worth enquiring into. The Wellington map and Reserves should be first consulted, the land examined by a surveyor, and its capabilities reported on, before deciding with the natives, should the Governor-in-Chief approve such a purchase being made.
