Mount Albert 26 Apl. 65 My dear Sir After completing the first compensation Court the particulars of which you will find in the local papers from Monday to today, and by which you will see that some justice has been done to the Children of Ihaka. I am now away to Kaipara by express order of the Govr. which has nearly driven Fenton mad. As he finds that my practice is most essential to him. I have no news for you except that Mount Albert is beginning to do well. I have ordered 15,000 feet of timber more, and I am sending you a reminder as promised in my last that the £60 Int. due on the nineteenth 19th of next month will be most acceptable. I expect to be back in a month and hope soon to hear that you have quite recovered. In the meantime, I am yours etc. John Rogan
