at Te Akeake just at the back of Tauranga - my brother Hopkins writes to tell me that it was a party assembled to do honor to old Ngahuruhuru and Wi Parera - the former went to fetch away his runaway wife who thought herself safe with the hauhaus - In fact I could not have believed that native matters would settle down so quickly.
