to hear of your arrival at Wanganui, and hope you had a pleasant trip. Your companion, Mr. W. King, should be a good traveller. If not, I can apprehend he soon will be. You may tell him his father is in robust health. We are to have a wedding very shortly, - Newman to Miss Honeyfield. My little hen at the Henui, is, I believe, to be got in readiness for the happy couple. This will most likely set things going, and the more the merrier. All your friends here are well, and will be glad to see you back again, although they have a long time to wait first. Being faithfully yours (Signed) H. Halse. To:- D. McLean Esq.
