Camp Puketapu 20th March 1865 My dear Sir, I trust that you will excuse my writing you this note but as you may wish to see me, and I am unable owing to the absence of both my Subalterns to leave the camp now, I have thought it best to tell you that should you desire me to come in, I will be able to do so, on receiving an intimation of your wishes, as I will make the necessary
