My Dear Sir, I got your note from Wynyard and am sorry that you should have wated for me but indeed I misunderstood you and fancied that as I could not tell percisely at what time you would be disengaged from the office you would have sent me word. The Chiefs will be glad to visit you when ever they know the time it will be agreeable to you that they should call I told Wingara to say to you Karoa te tau - as there is plenty of time seeing that I have but little of interest to say to you.
