Napier 24th October 1867 My dear Sir I am obliged to go to Wairoa with Withers, I tried to see you several times yesterday but you were engaged. I shall however be down by the 31st Inst., when I hope to see you, as I wish to bring several matters referring to our Settlement under your consideration. Percivals trouble has involved me to a certain extent, unless he is able to make matters right, and I wished to see you on that subject also - Excuse this brief note and Believe me Yours very sincerely James Fraser
