Napier March 26.1872. Dear Sir, I have written officially by this mail for leave to visit Poverty Bay; and I have communicated with Mr. Moorhouse. I think both the Trust Commrs. and Land Transfer offices would be benefitted by my visiting the Poverty Bay District at the present time. I trust I may be allowed to do so. Today I handed over your P/N in favour of Ropata Hoahakari for £81-16 to Mr.Kinross he having given Ropata a check for the amount and interest. There is no more news respecting Mr. Hy. Russell. I am Sir, Yours obediently, Hanson Turton.
