Auckland May 23, 1865 Dear Maclean, Would you be so good as to call at the Registr. Office for all the Grants of the 22,000 acre run of Whitmore and Nicholl. I am to have them on behalf of Sir G. Grey, and shall feel much obliged if you would call for them and draw upon me for the amount of fees payable and send the Grants to me. If you cannot do this yourself will you please hand this to some one else. The Compens. Court is the toughest job ever I had in my life. I hope you are quite recovered. Ever your st. F. D. Fenton
