Te Heu Heu has given himself up, and is on his road down, in charge of Preece. He says, Te Kooti had the thumb of his right hand shot off, portion of his left hand blown off, and wounded through the side. He was not able to carry any arms; nor was he able to keep up with his people who were fleeing. This occurred in the engagement of the 4th. inst. Mail closing at once.
