Wairoa April 13th./67 My dear Sir As you were unable to return I have taken on myself to do all that is necessary regarding Kopus funeral, Major Fraser having kindly assisted me - the funeral takes place today at the Hatepe. Nearly all the Europeans have promised to attend. I have got a good coffin made and intend having a fence erected round it.
