Letter from John Rogan, to Donald McLean, dated 20th. December 1852. New Plymouth. 20th. December 1852. My dear Sir, Mr. Cooper has mentioned to me that you wished to know what I am doing; as you thought I might be employed at the South. Since the Mokau trip, I have been living in town; and make, occasionally, plans for Deeds; and do a little private surveying,- sufficient to pay my expenses. The Bush section I have disposed of; and am therefore at liberty to leave Taranaki on a very short notice.
