My dear Sir, Mr. Cooper has mentioned to me that you wished to know what I am doing; as you thought I might be employed at the South. Since the Mokau trip, I have been living in town; and make, occasionally, plans for Deeds; and do a little private surveying,- sufficient to pay my expenses. The Bush section I have disposed of; and am therefore at liberty to leave Taranaki on a very short notice.
