July 1870. Dear Maclean, I have seen the draft of the "Native Land Fraud Prevention Bill". Of the general plan I very much approve. There are two or three thorough "Servillian" claims in it which I dont like, but on the whole it is very good, and Yours truly, F. D. Fenton P. S.
