"Wellington" Aug. 28th 73 Dear Sir, I see that the Hon.Mr.Fox has tabled a motion for the production of all papers respecting my past connection with the Government -- I have briefly to say -- That in view of the fact that I have now had a case pending in the Supreme Court for months past and which will come on for hearing in Oct. that the course taken by Mr. Fox must very seriously prejudice my position -- What may fall from Mr.Fox in the House will surely tell against me whether such statements be true
