My dear Sir, I am sorry to find that Mr. Weber is not in town; and to avoid giving you the trouble of coming down, I must ask you to fix another day. Mr. Weber will be in this evening; but it may be too late, and he has some of the correspondence with Domett. In reference to the blind road leading to your place, Capt. Carter thinks that you are prepared to offer £10 for it. I am quite willing to accept that sum, and close the transaction as far as one of the two roads is concerned.
