Dear McLean, I have only time to say your letter was this moment put into my hands and the Mail closes in about ten Minutes for New Plymouth - I am much gratified at your succeeding so well though I have not yet heard particulars Henrys letters have not yet reached me, but I was pleased to learn from the Governor that you had a delightful meeting. In reference to the reserve subject I can say nothing until I see the Governor when I will write you fully
