Dear D Mr Condie would tell you how ill Alec was yesterday. I really did not think he would have got through the night but this morning he is much better. The Dr has not been yet. It is strange the changes that take place in 4 and twenty hours. Robert goes to Wellington tomorrow as he does not like going without me and I don't know what to do.
