Te Uruhi 18 June 1850 Friend, McLean, Greetings. This is the area [set out] by McLean for me, from Te Atiawaawa[?], taking in both large and small parts of the land. Beginning at Anaparea, this is the boundary [for the area]: Anawaiti, Puarere, Anatataia, Pukaramu, Matapara, Te Kokoiahitere, Pakira, Wariunga, Te Motutawai, Tunupo, Tunohotahi, Anaruawairau, Totara, Te Hukuotewaero, Te Kiekie, Kaikanohi, Tipapakereru, Wakakaramea, Te Kokopouri, Te Kokomokomoko, Te Ahitarakihi, Te Umuweke, Konuiotaota, Anaurutakiao, Kumatoto, Tararau, Kaitapeka. This is the area [set out] by McLean for me, Te Ruaomoko, which rises to the other side of the river, [at?] Waitawa. The boundary on that side is [through?] Te Muramura, Mohuia, Te Punaruawiti, Te Akatarewa, Maropuehu, Watapu, Wangaruru, Pirinoa, Te Ongaonga, Te Takapu-o-te-wai, Wakarewa. This is the area for me [set out] by McLean, Waiwa. The land begins at Koperuahua and out to Matiere falls within the boundary; it starts at Anaparea and this is the area of the land out to Te Ruaomoko, which is also within the boundary; it rises to the other side of Waitawa and includes in the boundary the lands out to Te Punarua-witu[?], and further to Waiwa, and this is the portion for me. These are all the names of the lands which lie at Queen Charlotte town, Arapawa. From your good friend, from Piripi Toheroa, and from Rawiri Tangiwera, Toteira Tiaho, Karepa Kerei
