I say to you to divide up the seaward boundary of Moungapo, of the land that you bought [from?] Paora and Rawiri, because I have only just approved my giving Moungapo to you and Governor Grey. You should approve the division of my boundary for Moungapo; I will insist[?] on you breaking it at the coast, by the sea. Tamati Hapimana - the writer, and Aporo Taukohuki and Hakopa Te Patutu: these are the people who will take the payments for this land. That is all, and with my regards to you both.
