Nov. 26th, 1863 Sir, I have the honor to forward the Memorial in reference to G. Sinclair etc. In accordance with your directions I enclose the date of his imprisonment and the time he leaves. I have taken the liberty thinking you might be better able to forward the prayer of the Memorialists whilst at head quarters yourself. The only news of any consequence is a Report of 300 Waikatos having arrived at Waipuna this side of Puketitiri and an account from Rev. Hamlin of some chiefs from Waikato being at Opinuto trying to induce the natives there to have the same Rules etc. as are in force in Waikato. I have the honor to be Sir Your most obt. St., Geo. Thos. Fannin. Supt. Clerk
