Wairoa Hawks Bay Oct. 20th. 1853. We the undersigned inhabitants of the Wairoa Hawks Bay think it highly necessary there should be a House of entertainment or a Public House and a farry Boat, for the convenience of travellers, the Wairoa is at least twenty five miles from any other house of refreshment, and it is a travelling stage. Travellers would gladly avail themselves of a house of accomodation rather than put the residents to an inconvenience Wm. Atwaro Fredk. Spooner Jas. Mitchell W. Kavanagh Jas.
