I have talked with Mr. McLean, he told me they would go if they could get ammunition and food I at once applied and hence the result. You have now an opportunity of doing something indeed of shewing what you are made of. If you do this well who knows what it may lead to. I have great hopes. Should the gentleman be caught the whole Colony will be delighted, and Wairoa will stand well to the front.
