I have received from Mr. McLean, on this day, on the second (2) of the days of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and fifty-five (1855) the sum of One Hundred Pounds £100.0.0 sterling; as payment for all my lands at Ngamotu; the boundary commences at Herekawe; the boundary upwards is Paretutu, also Tukuperu, Pouakai, Tahuna a te tawa; and outwards to Pukaramu, Umuutekai, Hikurangi, Puketotara, Turangarua, Te Keteiwi, te Rewarewa, Pukahu, Opokino, Waiwakaio.
