Poor old Moses Tawhai has been suddenly removed and agree with you that it is a ''public loss.'' I enclose herewith the slips I named to you in my Telegram; the inuendos were rather too pointed and too true to be agreeable, especially to the editor of the Star I am told he was very angry. I think nevertheless perhaps a little too strong.
